HOT TOPIC_02: The ‘Korea Metaverse Industry Association’ launches

The Korea VR·AR Industry Association (KoVRA) and the Mobile Industry Association of Korea (MOBIA) are merging to expand the metaverse industry ecosystem. The two associations exchanged a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to establish the ‘Korea Metaverse Industry Association,’ and plan to open the door to metaverse-related companies and expand member firms by the end of this year. The Korea Metaverse Industry Association will, based on the participation of various metaverse-related companies, serve as a hub for revitalizing the ecosystem—including discovering metaverse alliance projects and supporting their commercialization.
