Chris & Partners' event-planning highlights

Held under the theme ‘Discussing the Progress and Remaining Tasks of the Artists' Rights Guarantee Act and Its Subordinate Legislation,’ the public hearing on the Act's enforcement decree and rules was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korean Artist Welfare Foundation. Ahead of the enforcement of the Artists' Rights Guarantee Act enacted in August 2021, this hearing was arranged to flesh out the enforcement decree and rules delegated by the law, and to continuously gather the views of on-the-ground practitioners and stakeholders in the arts and culture sector. Chris & Partners successfully delivered the public hearing's event planning, venue construction, and operation.

The public hearing was a hybrid event; we provided pre/on-site guidance for on-site attendees and systematic advance technical rehearsals for online attendees. Through thorough advance preparation, we created an environment satisfying both on-site attendees and speakers, and ran it so online attendees could participate without dropouts.

From start to finish, this event provided a real-time captioning service for the hearing-impaired, so that diverse stakeholders could take part without difficulty.
