Chris & Partners' ‘symposium planning’ highlights

Marking the 10th anniversary of the renaming of schizophrenia, this symposium—planned on the theme ‘The Reality and Path Forward of Psychiatry in the COVID Era’—was held in a webinar format to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

This symposium was composed of a total of 11 domestic presenters and 3 overseas presenters; the 3 overseas presenters took part as the symposium's special lectures, presenting on the theme of COVID-19 and mental health. In particular, Dr. Elyn Saks, a chaired professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, as a person with schizophrenia herself, shared the experience she went through, giving strength to those with mental illness struggling due to COVID-19.

Pre-registration applications were carried out via the website, where you can see at a glance the detailed content of the symposium, composed of various sessions. Also, through the profiles of key speakers for each session and a Q&A board, we created a space for communication with participants attending the symposium, composing it so they could take part more easily.

Because it was a symposium running for 8 hours, to build a stable network environment, Chris & Partners' online specialist engineering team was on hand at all times, stably streaming live in real time simultaneously while complying with COVID-19 quarantine rules and taking meticulous care to prevent infection. The symposium was successfully held, recording about 450 pre-registrants and a cumulative 1,700 live-stream YouTube views.
