The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC)* and other international cooperation organizations—through active collaboration with them, it was established to realize the standardization and advancement of mouse-phenotyping technology and to build the foundation of a world-class mouse-phenotyping service. Going forward, leveraging phenotyping-based bioinformatics infrastructure, we will strive to strengthen gene-function interpretation capabilities and promote bio-technology competitiveness through active cooperation with the domestic life-sciences field.

* International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) A massive international joint project organized by the world's major bio-technology advanced nations for international collaboration on GEM phenotyping, a core technology of gene-function interpretation; it aims to decode human gene function through interpreting the phenotyping information of GEM resources in which 22,000 human genes have been modified.

Chris & Partners' academic-conference ‘planning/operation’ highlights

1 Academic-conference operation highlights- Deploying console-operation technicians, thorough system rehearsals, providing a minute-by-minute, finely structured scenario, and more—we smoothly ran an event concentrating Chris & Partners' planning/operation know-how. 2 Exhibition booth design and construction highlights

- So the achievements built up by the Korea Mouse Phenotyping Center and academia could be effectively shared through the exhibition booth, we designed and built Chris & Partners' own strategic exhibition booth. - Based on Chris & Partners' fair-planning and exhibition-planning experience, using the optimal typeface for an exhibition booth and arranging images, we effectively reflected extensive academic materials into the exhibition.

3 Tailored participant-management solution highlights

- We produced and provided a web invitation to effectively promote/guide this academic conference. - We created a Google registration form and simply embedded it in the existing center website to streamline the participant-registration process, saving the time and cost of building a separate website. - By sending participants a pre-attendance guide via text with the academic conference's information and convenience guidance, we could manage reminders and no-shows and raise the participation rate.

Program

KOREA MOUSE PHENOTYPING CENTER SYMPOSIUM The Korea Mouse Phenotyping Center Achievement Exhibition was the first venue to share the achievements on genetically engineered mouse (GEM) phenotyping projects recorded by the Korea Mouse Phenotyping Center, providing an academic conference where domestic and overseas academia and the related industry could exchange.

Korea Mouse Phenotyping Center Achievement Exhibition exhibition hall

This Korea Mouse Phenotyping Center Achievement Exhibition was a venue to share the achievements the center had built up and provide opportunities for academic and industry exchange at home and abroad. This exhibition was an academic conference composed so that, along with presentations introducing the achievements of each research institute leading the GEM research field, participants could see and experience each research field and achievement directly with their own eyes through the exhibition booth.
