Into the HYCON Hackathon ‘HYCONHACKS’!

For two days, September 14–15, 2018, in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at KBS Arena, HYCON's first-ever hackathon ‘HYCONHACKS’ was held.

This event lasted a whopping 32 hours! Two days with no overnight rest! Just what is a ‘hackathon’ that the event ran nonstop for 32 hours over two days with no overnight break? We can't help but find out, right?

According to Naver Knowledge Encyclopedia, a hackathon  is a compound of ‘hacking’ and ‘marathon’—within a limited period, planners, developers, and designers and other participants form teams to draw out ideas nonstop and, based on these, complete an app, a web service, or a business model—a group and corporate event.

We'd like to introduce a blog post that vividly captures a review of the HYCONHACKS site, where passion burned for over 24 hours. It's a review written directly by the event host, HYCON, so it feels even more real.

The post we're introducing relates to the event's second day, yet the participants' eyes are so full of passion without fatigue that you'd believe it was the event's first day.

Participants giving their best to the very end

At the end of the post, HYCON didn't forget to leave words of thanks to Chris & Partners too—we hope HYCON walks only a flowery path going forward! The 32 hours of passion-filled HYCONHACKS became a good memory not only for the hackathon participants but for us at Chris & Partners too.
