The 2019 Northern Forum is, with the participation of international organizations and Northern-region countries, an on the New Northern Policy that discusses key fields and measures for economic cooperation related to the New Northern Policy and shares the North's recent economic and policy trendsinternational conference; amid a situation where international trade was contracting due to the US-China trade dispute and difficulties repeated with Japan's trade regulations and the GSOMIA issue, it was a venue to discuss peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia through economic cooperation with Northern countries.
The 2019 Northern Forum was, in the end, a successful simultaneous, multi-pronged cooperation between Korea and Russia (the 9-Bridge strategy) befitting the purpose of the committee, which launched with the goal of achieving international conference, and it created momentum for generating future growth engines and, further, laying the foundation for future inter-Korean unification.
Through this international conference, the 2nd Northern Forum or the 2020 Northern Forum—by hosting such continuous international conferences, we could expect the Republic of Korea to recover its identity as a ‘bridge nation’ and for new economic space and opportunities to expand.

4. International-conference venue setup

The 2019 Northern Forum had not only the main event but various small meetings and media interviews planned, so we carried out space utilization suited to each meeting's scale and purpose. Also, as it was held at a familiar location, The Shilla Seoul, we could also propose flow lines for smooth event proceedings.
5. International-conference proceedings and speaker-management process

Chris & Partners, the 2019 Northern Forum being an international conference, booked not only domestic speakers—Kwon Goo-hoon (Chair of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation) / Seong Gyeong-ryung (Chair of the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences) / Song Young-gil (National Assembly member) / Choo Mi-ae (Minister of Justice) and other domestic speakers—but also overseas speakers such as Timur Maksimov (Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development).
By providing a service that satisfied both the host and the speakers through smooth communication, we could imprint a satisfying event image even afterward by delivering souvenirs (engraved fountain pens) to each speaker's address after the event ended.
