Hello, this is Chris & Partners. 🤗 Over the past two years, countless events canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 virus are resuming as everyday life gradually recovers. Following our 2022 first-half major conference schedule feature, today's post looks at the major second-half event schedule together.
IFA 2022 (Berlin International Consumer Electronics Show 2022)
IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung in German), the world's largest consumer-electronics exhibition, returns offline after two years. Held each September in Berlin, Germany, IFA went online in 2021 and 2020 due to COVID-19. As it returns offline after two years, participating companies' interest is keen. Of the top 20 participating companies, 16 have confirmed attendance, and others are reportedly rushing to reserve exhibition space. Among Korean companies, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are reviewing whether to participate.

UDC 2022 (Upbit Developer Conference 2022)
UDC 2022 (Upbit Developer Conference), hosted by blockchain and fintech firm Dunamu, returns offline after three years. UDC is an international blockchain conference started to contribute to the blockchain industry and technology advancement—a pure, non-profit event contributing to the blockchain ecosystem. UDC 2022 will cover not only blockchain trends but the core issues of Web 3.0, such as NFTs and the metaverse.

Metacon 2022
Metacon, Korea's largest metaverse conference held last year, returns this year too. It's no exaggeration to say the metaverse was a hot issue across all industries last year. Following that trend, Metacon 2021 brought together metaverse-related companies and speakers to discuss the metaverse industry's outlook and trends. This year, it plans to broaden the theme to discuss the digital economy in depth—blockchain, NFTs, cryptocurrency, and more.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2022
TechCrunch Disrupt, the startup conference held each year in San Francisco since 2011 by TechCrunch, North America's largest IT online outlet, also returns as an offline event. TechCrunch Disrupt is literally called ‘a festival for IT-sector startups,’ where a variety of programs unfold in one place—talks by famous IT-industry speakers, pitch competitions, startup exhibitions, consultation matching, and more. As a chance for capable startups to gain international attention, participation from various companies is anticipated.

Chirp 2022
Chirp, Twitter's developer conference discontinued after 2015, returns after seven years. Resuming this November, Chirp will run as an offline event comprising keynotes, technical sessions, and Q&A with the Twitter developer team. For those who can't attend in person, all sessions will be released online after the event. As a conference returning after seven years, much anticipation is expected.

SLUSH 2022
The international startup conference SLUSH is Europe's flagship startup event, started in 2008 with the mission ‘to create and help founders who change the world.’ A non-profit event, SLUSH is planned and run each year by startups, students, and volunteers. Built by young, creative organizers, SLUSH has such a young vibe you can't tell whether it's a venue or a party. With various programs—startup pitching, talks, product launches and announcements—SLUSH is famous for the influential investors and formidable startups who attend.
