Chris & Partners' event-planning highlights

On December 22, at Lotte Hotel Seoul, the ‘2025 Korea Full-Cycle Medical Device R&D Awards’ was held to honor the past and present of Korea's medical-device industry. This event was arranged as a ‘feedback forum’ to recognize and encourage the principal investigators of outstanding projects that produced meaningful results across the full cycle of medical-device R&D over the past six years, and to let those results spread back into research settings and the wider industry.

Hosted and organized by the Korea Medical Device Development Fund (KMDF) and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, this was an official ceremony honoring a total of 30 distinguished contributors, so Chris & Partners considered both the event's dignity and operational efficiency at once.

The main venue, the Sapphire Ballroom, used banquet-style table seating so winners and guests could focus fully on the ceremony. Considering the venue's characteristics, we actively used the hotel's existing stage and video equipment to secure the stability and polish an official event requires. In particular, through the high-resolution LED at the front of the stage, we linked presentation materials and winner information to the live screen in real time, steering the ceremony's overall flow smoothly.

We also systematically designed the ceremony operation overall—ceremony ushers, bouquet presentation, and winner-flow management—maintaining respect for the winners and the event's formality at once.

We planned the venue lobby not as a mere passageway but as an extended space for sharing achievements and forming networks. We placed refreshments and standing tables in the center of the lobby to naturally encourage winners and attendees to chat and mingle.

We set up an achievement-poster exhibition zone where you could take in the research of the winning projects at a glance, visually conveying each project's research background and key results. This let attendees understand the overall flow of R&D achievements beyond the meaning of individual awards, adding to the value of empathy and knowledge-sharing around research outcomes.

At the venue entrance we installed a photo wall carrying the event's identity, creating a space to record and share the moment of winning and the event's meaning. We let participants take photos freely and naturally engage with the event's message, so the awards' atmosphere and symbolism were conveyed consistently throughout the lobby.

By planning and applying a VIP operation plan suited to the event's character in advance—corsages for VIPs, protocol, and flow management—we raised the event's credibility and dignity together. We also prepared a separate hospitality space for VIPs so key figures and winners could share the event's purpose and achievements and hold in-depth conversations in a more comfortable setting. This supported meaningful exchange and communication flowing naturally before and after the official program.

From stage and venue design to ceremony operation, achievement exhibition and networking space, and VIP protocol. Chris & Partners, through this 2025 Korea Full-Cycle Medical Device R&D Awards, ran a polished event that honored research achievements and organically connected people, policy, and industry. If you need planning that clearly conveys an event's purpose and message—a ceremony, conference, or any event—and stable on-site operation, partner with Chris & Partners!
