Chris & Partners' corporate ‘online event’ planning highlights

At OMW 2022, held for the 17th time this year, under the theme ‘On Uniqueness in an Age of Infinite Replication,’ we set out to talk about ‘uniqueness,’ a key concept connecting data and creativity.

It ran across three session structures—content and platform, space and locality, philosophy and people—with experts from various fields as speakers: Twitter Korea executive Kim Yeon-jung, a content expert; Seo Seung-mo, principal of the architecture firm ‘SAAI’; Lee Seung-hee, brand marketer and author of ‘Everything Is Inspiration’; and VAIV Company vice president Song Gil-young, a big-data expert.

OMW 2022 ran as a 100% online event; unlike the Zoom/YouTube typically used for streaming, this event communicated with participants online through the Eventus platform.

Having different platforms for participant recruitment and online viewing made this event a bit cumbersome, but Chris & Partners' online specialist planning team proposed the Eventus platform, running participant recruitment and online streaming simultaneously, so participants could join more easily; thanks to the simpler process, online participants on the day increased considerably over the previous event. Given the real-time nature of online events, unpredictable situations can arise, but Chris & Partners' expert technicians stay on-site from before the event begins until it ends, always ready for any contingency.
