Chris & Partners' ‘online event’ planning highlights

‘Bio Plus,’ the bio convention the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization has held annually since 2015, ran contact-free/online for the first time this year due to COVID-19. The event took place at the DSM Square Art Hall, with the host and session presenters visiting on-site. Interacting via chat with presenters joining via the Zoom video-conferencing platform and participants joining via live YouTube online, we ran the event with a total of 9 sessions and various sponsor sessions.

Bio Plus • Interphex Korea 2021, in its 4th edition, was themed ‘FALL IS BIO SEASON.’ Communicating with online participants as if on-site, sharing diverse opinions, and directing it stably and vividly as if seen in person, we wrapped it up successfully.

Beyond this, through an event giving gifts by drawing among pre-registrants, we drew a strong response from the many online participants. Given the real-time nature of online events—communicating with participants live—unpredictable situations can arise, but Chris & Partners' expert technicians stay on-site from before the event begins until it ends, responding flexibly to the unexpected.
