2023 Korea National Conference of Internal Auditors was held under the intriguing theme ‘The Great Transformation; Leaping from an Age of Uncertainty to a Better Future,’ as a forum where internal auditors pondering future survival and growth observed the currents of transformation and considered response directions through new insights an auditor should hold.

Over two days, a total of about 400 internal auditors attended, held in Busan with a diverse lineup—best-practice presentations, breakout discussions, special lectures, panel discussions, an audit-awards ceremony, and a special celebratory performance.

In particular, as last year, this conference actively used a custom event app as a way to minimize paper use for environmental protection. Through an app upgraded from last year, participants could easily check all event-related information and take part more conveniently via Q&A and surveys.

And for the conference highlight held with the dinner—the 2023 Audit Awards ceremony commending and celebrating the achievements of auditors who performed excellently throughout 2023, plus a special celebratory performance—we added special lighting and effects to an ordinary convention hall to provide optimal stage conditions, staging a spectacle full of things to see. As a result, we ran an event with high participant satisfaction and brought the conference to a successful close.
