CAC Global Summit 2020

Held in step with the untact era of 2020, this Seoul Metropolitan Government event was a success—developing an online video-conferencing platform for the first time in Korea and the world—and was held alongside a meeting of mayors from 40 cities. Run as a consortium with another company that handled the system and venue construction and operation, our role was the booking and management of speakers from home and abroad. We successfully connected a total of 156 speakers—including 86 from overseas—without a single incident, ensuring a smooth conference. The event required both knowledge and experience in online conference operations and strong speaker-management capabilities. With 1,500 concurrent video-conference participants and a cumulative total of over 100,000 YouTube views, it is remembered as a highly meaningful event that became a role model for many online conferences that followed.
