27th EMEAP Governors' Meeting & 11th EMEAP Governors' and Heads of Supervision Meeting

The ‘27th EMEAP Governors' Meeting & 11th EMEAP Governors' and Heads of Supervision Meeting,’ hosted by the Bank of Korea, was held in Seoul for the third time—11 years after the 5th Governors' Meeting (Seoul, 2000) and the 15th Governors' Meeting (Jeju, 2011). This year's meeting was the first in-person gathering since the onset of COVID-19, with central bank and monetary authority governors of EMEAP member economies, as well as senior representatives of the IMF and BIS, attending either in person or remotely. Spanning three days—a welcome dinner on day one, the Governors' Meeting on day two, and the Governors' and Heads of Supervision Meeting on day three—this 27th Governors' Meeting also featured a variety of external programs. To ensure stable execution, we prepared meticulously, conducting multiple advance site visits, and our flawless preparation allowed us to run the event with composure and confidence.
