2021 4th African Martial Arts Conference
Following last year's third edition, the 4th African Martial Arts Conference was again operated by Chris & Partners this year. Held under the theme ‘The Potential Role of the International Centre of Martial Arts for Africa,’ it was organized by the UNESCO International Centre of Martial Arts and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Chungju City. As in the previous year, it ran in a hybrid format connecting on-site and online. Given the fragile network conditions typical of the African region, we conducted multiple technical rehearsals in advance and prepared contingency plans for speakers losing connection on the day—so that even when a speaker's connection did drop, we could respond flexibly. Drawing on extensive experience, Chris & Partners successfully delivered the online conference operation, venue construction, and speaker management.
